I would like the "angry chef comments" from other reviews to the soup chef from Seinfeld...just passionate about his craft. He and his wife both seemed nice enough during my short in-and-out purchase.

The food was very good, however the chef is by far one of the rudest people to ever serve my family food. I would give this place a full five stars but the chef that was also the waiter was so rude that he managed to plummet a full five stars to a mere single star, maybe even 1/2 a star. Just a warning for anyone who steps in there, be prepared to see one very angry chef just by asking for a menu and if you compliment their food, you will be yelled at. The female waitresses have all been extremely kind and wonderful people, but this man has officially managed to lose several costumers just by his awful temper.
My mechanics, who have lived in the same town most of their lives, loved the muffins but had no idea that Reid's Beans had such wares for sale.
I would definitely recommend you preorder any baked goods if you plan to buy more than a couple. I tried to order some cranberry muffins and he would only sell me six. No big deal for what I wanted them for (treated my mechanics with a snack today).

My wife and I had a great breakfast here while traveling through. If not for the interstate sign, we wouldn't have found it! We both had the farmers breakfast, with some quite tasty coffee, picture to show!
Great breakfast, fun watching the locals come in for coffee and go back of the counter and get their own cups, reminds us of our little coffee club in Phoenix, AZ, the Brown Bag.
So, this place has some great lesser-known delicious baked goods. I have not tried the food or drinks, so cannot comment on those. From what I know, the chef makes everything from scratch and he and his wife own and run the place.
